Why EOEN
Online English education has grown up.
Its professional network should too.
Independent online schools are no longer an alternative at the edge of English language education. They are specialist organisations with their own teaching models, communities, technology and expertise.
EOEN is being created to give those schools a place to connect, learn from one another and build credibility together — without losing the independence that makes them distinctive.

EOEN is designed to grow carefully. Meeting basic eligibility criteria will not create an automatic right to membership: admissions are discretionary and the Board will protect the quality, balance and usefulness of the network.

Two years to build substance first.
During EOEN's incubation period, both the selected Founding Members and subsequently admitted School Members will pay no school membership fee.
Founding Member status is different: it recognises the specially selected initial cohort permanently as part of EOEN's history.
50If EOEN reaches 50 school members during incubation, the Board will review the future funding and membership-fee model. Existing members remain free through 2028.

The Board reviews the sustainable funding and membership model based on what EOEN has actually become.

Supported from the start.
EOEN is being established through a two-year incubation period in 2027–2028, with C2 English School acting as Founding Incubator and funding the network's establishment and core operating costs.
This support gives EOEN the space to build carefully: developing its standards, governance and member community before moving to a sustainable long-term model.
